"KORG Legacy Collection"

Resurrects Korgs Legendary Synthesizers

The KORG Legacy Collection is the ultimate virtual
instrument pack, consisting of software versions of the
MS 20 and Polysix analog synthesizers, and the WAVESTATION
advanced vector synthesizer, together with a dedicated MS 20
Controller that faithfully replicates the original MS 20 at
84 of the original size.

Perennially popular and hard to find in their hardware
formats, these legendary synths are now resurrected for use
in your computer as state of the art software synthesizers.
Our CMT electronic circuit modeling technology delivers
stunningly accurate reproductions of the analog MS 20 and
Polysix, and the groundbreaking Legacy Cell combination
structure produces beefy and complex new timbres that far
surpass the original models. The WAVESTATION is brought into
the mode age, answering the requests of thousands of fans
of that much beloved instrument.

Changes from 1.0 1.12

Wave Station:

The host application might crash when the Wavestation
plug in was removed from an instrument track, or when a
project file which included the Wavestation plugin was
opened. This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] The host application sometime crashed when the
WAVESTATION plugin was removed from an instrument track or
when a host applications project file which included the
WAVESTATION plugin was opened. This has been fixed

[Enhancement] A new function "Snap" has been added. This
function lets you set the duration of a step of a WaveSeq
using musical note values. Ultimately, this will allow you to
synchronize a Wave Sequence to the MIDI clock (tempo setting)
of your host application or of an exteal MIDI device.

[Enhancement] By selecting two or more steps of a WaveSeq, you
can now edit multiple steps of a Wave Sequence at once.

[Enhancement] Certain part parameters can now be edited by
NRPN (Non Registered Parameter Number). The data for three
microKONTROL scenes using this new function are included in
this KLC v1.1.0.

[Improvement of function] The performance of the WAVESTATION
is greatly improved when it is run using a processor that
uses SSE instructions; such as Celeron, Pentium III, AthlonXP.

Please refer to the PDF manual "New WAVESTATION function" for
more complete information regarding the new functions of
WAVESTATION.

[Enhancement] A new parameter . .Output Gain. has been added.
The Output Gain can be set at 0dB, +6dB or +12dB.

[Enhancement] A new type of system exclusive message "Mixed
Data. . has been added, containing two or more system
exclusive messages for import. This allows for importing
sounds which have been stored as multiple bank types into a
single Sys. Ex. File.

[Enhancement] A new function has been added for quickly
resetting either an individual parameter, or an entire
Performance, Patch or Wavesequence to its currently saved
value.

[Improvement of function] The performance of the WAVESTATION
is greatly improved when it is run using a processor that
uses SSE2 instructions; such as the Pentium4, Pentium M, and
Athlon64.

[Bug fix] In certain sounds, the attack point was not always
played the same as the original WAVESTATION. This has been
fixed.

[Bug fix] If MIDI control change messages (from either your
host application or from an exteal MIDI device) were used
to control Vector Position, the position was not always
placed correctly. This could happen if the original position
had been changed using a mouse, or if it had been moved to
the center by selecting a new Performance.

[Bug fix] Occasionally, if you clicked on a Patch (in the
Patch List of the Performance page), then the Amp EG release
times of every OSC in that patch were replaced by a zero
(.0.). This has been fixed

[Bug fix] If you wrote a Performance while editing a Patch,
and then went to edit the Patch again, the data in the edit
buffer was lost. This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] When editing the "Repeats" parameter in the MixEnv,
the value would occasionally revert to .OFF..

[Bug fix] In the WaveSeq Edit page, the step after the END
step was occasionally selected if the WaveSeq had been
selected from the WaveSeq/Wave List in the Patch Edit page.
This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] The start step of the WaveSeq was not always the
same as the original WAVESTATION when certain types of
modulation were used. This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] There was sometimes a problem in playing a WaveSeq
whose "Xfade" parameter value was set to 1. This has been
fixed.

[Bug fix] The sound character of certain Reverbs (FX 1 14, 39
40) was not exactly the same as the original WAVESTATION.
This has been fixed

[Bug fix] The init value of the Dmod Src/Amt parameter of the
Vocoder FXs (FX 50 55) was incorrect. This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] When editing the .Routing. parameter, the FX would
sometimes tu off. This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] The sound coming through the FX could momentarily
stop when you were editing. This has been fixed.

[Bug fix] Bank Select messages were sometimes received, even
when the "Program Change" parameter in the Global page was
set to Disable. This has been fixed.

MS 20

[Enhancement] MG TRI, MG PW, EG1, EG1 Reverse, EG2, and EG2
Reverse have been added to the list of Exteal Modulation
Sources. This enables you to create wider a variety of sounds.

[Enhancement] 32 new sounds, created with the new function
mentioned above, have been added. These new sounds are in the
default setting bank data ("MS 20.fxb"), automatically loaded
when MS 20 v1.1.0 is started. The default setting of the
former versions (v1.0.0/1.0.1) is installed in the "Presets"
folder within "KORG Legacy" folder as "MS 20_v100.fxb".

Polysix

[Bug fix] When using the Polysix.s arpeggiator, occasionally
the starting note of the arpeggiated patte was not the
right note. This has been fixed.

Legacy Cell

[Change of function /Enhancement] The assignable pedal jack on
the microKONTROL is now used for the sustain pedal function .
MIDI Control Change 64.

[Bug fix] Patch information data coming from the MS 20
controller was always being sent to both Synth1 and Synth2.
This has been fixed.
