GUITAR RIG is a complete solution for the mode guitarist on the stage, in the rehearsal space, at home, and in the studio. GUITAR RIG combines highly advanced software and a sturdy hardware foot controller: "Rig Kontrol". The GUITAR RIG software offers first class emulations of classic and mode amplifiers, cabinets, microphones, and effects, letting guitarists easily create any guitar set up imaginable. Endless possibilities

GUITAR RIG integrates four tube amplifier emulations, which were developed through detail exact analysis of popular models. In addition there are more than 20 outstanding sounding effects, including emulations of well known vintage pedals and mode effects like delay, reverb, and EQs. GUITAR RIG also includes an extensive "Cabinets and Mics" module with 14 speaker types, and five microphone types, each with four different positions. Up to eight speaker and mic combinations are possible simultaneously!

Native Instruments is known for outstanding emulations of hardware instruments. For GUITAR RIG, NI has developed a special ?Dynamic Tube Response. technology, which provides an unprecedented clarity and responsiveness in the sound. With help from impulse response modeling, the sound characteristics of different speakers and microphones can be emulated simultaneously. This results in powerful, dynamic guitar sounds that sound just like the originals while setting all new benchmarks.

Live and in the studio

Guitar Rig is ideal for live performance and practice sessions and can run as a standalone application without the need for any host sequencing software. In fact, the foot controller makes playing possible without the need to touch, or even see, the computer! Naturally, Guitar Rig also supports all major plug in formats, making it an excellent tool for recording, postproduction, and sound design.
