Procedural materials

Most renderers rely entirely on bitmap materials thatmust be tediously "mapped" on to each object. AccuRendersupports bitmap and procedural materials like marble,granite, tile, and wood that can be assigned to objects,blocks, or layers.

Procedural materials penetrate through the part insteadof being "wrapped" around it. A wood beam will show arift sawn grain patte on the sides and end grain onthe end. The growth rings penetrate through the beamlike real wood instead of being wrapped around it likeshelf paper.
