View 3D CAD Models in 3D and 2D Mode

Imagenation can be configured to open a 3D file, in either 3D Model mode or 2D Projection mode. View models in 3D mode to rotate, measure, transform, cross section, and apply 3D markups to CAD models.

View 3D CAD models as 2D drawings in a unique four way display. Imagenation can also rasterize 3D models to 2D formats for rapid distribution when the native CAD model is not required.

Users can select to apply different display styles for the Still and Interactive modes including:
.Smooth Shading,
.Flat Shading,
.Wireframes, and
.Points display styles.


Simultaneously View 2D/3D Files

Load and simultaneously display 2D and 3D files. Imagenations multiple document interface lets users open as many 2D and 3D files as needed. 3D tools such as Model Explorer, Cross Sectioning, Transformations and Markups incorporate "sticky" settings eliminating the need for users to reapply settings upon retuing to an open file.
